Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - X-ray to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading Hospital in Albany, NY. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic x-ray examinations for emergency room, operating room, and inpatient settings
• Support busy evening operations from 3p-11p Monday through Friday
• Maintain current NYS License and ARRT certification
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, and other immunizations
• Complete mandatory drug screening and background checks
• Undergo fit testing and maintain compliance with safety protocols
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Complete required documentation and verification processes
• Maintain professional standards and code of conduct
• Work July 4th holiday when possible
• Demonstrate minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NY
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
