Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide surgical technology services with required OB experience • Maintain current surgical technician certification and licensure • Complete Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen and maintain drug-free status • Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and facility policies • Complete and maintain required documentation including I9 verification • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information per system security agreement • Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and demonstrate clinical competency • Maintain current immunization requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccines • Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing • Undergo annual fit testing for respiratory protection equipment • Complete annual physical examination and health statement • Maintain current influenza vaccination when required • Submit to criminal background check and maintain clean background status • Complete education verification and provide proof of surgical technology training • Pass Trinity Joint Commission testing requirements • Maintain professional liability insurance through Trinity NSO • Complete system access requirements and maintain appropriate access credentials • Respond to Trinity-specific COVID questionnaire and health screening requirements • Participate in continuing education and competency assessments as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
