Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures as a Radiologic Technologist
• Maintain current ARRT certification
• Hold valid fluoroscopy permit
• Provide on-call coverage one night per week (12 hours)
• Work one weekend per month on-call (48 hours)
• Complete required onboarding documentation and forms
• Pass 9-panel drug screening
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete annual physical and health assessments
• Pass criminal background check and maintain clean record
• Complete education verification process
• Pass Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete skills checklist validation
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Comply with facility policies and system access requirements
• Work scheduled shift from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
