Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surgical technician duties in neurosurgery procedures
• Be available for on-call assignments with minimum 10-12 call shifts per month
• Participate in holiday rotation as part of on-call team during holidays
• Work varying shifts of 8-10 hours depending on department needs
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit Trinity OFAC and IA Sing Report documentation
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain current license/certificate verification
• Complete required fit testing and color vision testing
• Pass Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen
• Sign Trinity Code of Conduct Form and Confidentiality Agreement
• Complete I9 verification and criminal background check
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Complete physical/health statement requirements
• Submit Trinity Profile and complete conflict of interest disclosure
• Complete EPLS, GSA/OIG, and NSO documentation
• Fill system access forms and integrity audit services forms
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
