Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures and imaging services
• Work Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm schedule
• Complete 10 call days per month including weekends and/or weekdays
• Provide on-call coverage during weekday hours from 4:30pm to 7am
• Provide weekend call coverage from Friday 4:30pm through Monday 7am
• Complete required fit testing and respirator evaluation
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification
• Complete required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete required compliance forms and agreements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security protocols
• Complete annual drug screening requirements
• Adhere to professional code of conduct and integrity standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
