Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and technical operations
• Maintain current MRI technologist certification and state licensure
• Work 10-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Pass required fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete drug screening and health assessments
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklists
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and others
• Complete tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Pass Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete system access and security training
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete required health documentation and physical examinations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
