Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI technologist duties and responsibilities
• Work scheduled shifts on Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday (40 hours bi-weekly)
• Maintain current professional license and certification verification
• Complete required fit testing and health screenings
• Undergo mandatory drug screening
• Complete code of conduct and compliance forms
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and property information
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete annual influenza vaccination as required
• Undergo physical examination and health statement completion
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
