Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technology services and imaging procedures
• Maintain current AART certification and state licensure
• Work 10-hour shifts with schedule flexibility between 2030-0700
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing and respirator evaluation
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete required drug screening and tuberculosis testing (PPD or IGRA)
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and ongoing education requirements
• Comply with facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required background checks and verification processes
• Maintain professional integrity and adhere to audit compliance standards
• Complete annual influenza vaccination (optional)
• Participate in facility orientation and onboarding requirements
• Demonstrate technical competency in radiologic procedures and patient care
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
