Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and technical operations
• Maintain current MRI technologist certification and licensure
• Complete required compliance documentation and forms
• Undergo mandatory health screenings including drug testing and physical examination
• Maintain current immunization records including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and other required vaccines
• Complete tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass required competency testing and skills assessments
• Complete mandatory training modules and educational requirements
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Maintain professional conduct per organizational code of conduct
• Work assigned shift schedule including weekends as required
• Complete background checks and employment verification processes
• Participate in quality assurance and safety protocols
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Follow established imaging protocols and safety procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
