Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - OT to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Livonia, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in Wayne and Washtenaw County areas including Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Plymouth, Canton, Northville and Novi
• Work full-time 40 hours per week during 8 am to 5 pm day shifts
• Utilize EPIC system for patient documentation and record keeping
• Maintain current occupational therapy license and certification
• Complete required competency testing and skills assessments
• Comply with all vaccination requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing, drug screening, and physical health statement
• Undergo required background checks and security clearances
• Complete all onboarding documentation including code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and maintain compliance standards
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for occupational therapy practice
• Maintain valid driver's license for travel between patient locations
• Adhere to infection control protocols including tuberculosis screening
• Complete required education verification and professional credentialing processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
