Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA - CNA to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading LTC in Livonia, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide certified nursing assistant (CNA) services in home healthcare setting
• Work full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Maintain flexible availability for day shifts between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Complete 8-week assignment duration as required
• Maintain current CNA license/certification with verification requirements
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Obtain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical examination and health statement
• Pass criminal background check and exclusion list screenings
• Complete mandatory competency testing and skills checklists
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and specialty-specific competency requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Comply with organizational policies regarding patient information security
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity compliance forms
• Provide valid driver's license or state identification
• Submit to fingerprinting requirements as mandated
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
