Experience
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in Nuclear Medicine required
- References covering 1 year of employment in specialty within the last 3 years required
- Previous floating experience to similar specialties required
License & Certification Required
- Nuclear Medical Technician certification (RRT with Nuclear Med specialty or NMTCB accepted)
- AHA BLS certification required
- References must include a supervisor and cover 1 year of employment in specialty within the last 3 years
Skills Required
- Experience with Siemens or Toshiba equipment required
- Experience with storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
- IV starts
- HIDA scans
- Cardiac stress testing
- Lung scans
- Bone scans
- Thyroid scans
- Uptake procedures
- Computerized documentation
- Isolation precautions
Desired Skills
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Experience with GE, Hitachi, or Phillips equipment is a plus
