Experience
- Minimum 1 year LTC experience required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- AK CNA license (can be pending, but application must be submitted)
- Valid CNA license in another state (if AK CNA license is pending)
- BLS
- Alaska Food Worker Certification (to be obtained during orientation)

- Assistance with ambulation
- Assistance with feeding
- Assistance with turning and repositioning
- Bed shampoo
- Changing linens (occupied and unoccupied)
- Complete bed bath
- Donning and removing PPE
- Foot care
- Glucometer and glucose point of care testing
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Mouth care
- Obtaining blood pressure (including orthostatic)
- Obtaining patient respirations
- Obtaining pulse (radial)
- Obtaining temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, tympanic)
- Managing oxygen tanks
- Perineal care (male/female)
- Pressure injury prevention
- Pulse oximetry
- Safe patient transfers
- Skin care
- Urine/stool incontinence care
- Experience with middle adult and older adult populations
