Experience
- Minimum 1 year Long Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- Active CNA license in another state
- BLS
- Documentation of Alaska CNA license application submission required if pending
- Alaska Food Worker Certification to be obtained during orientation
Skills Required
- Ability to assist with ambulation
- Ability to assist with feeding patients
- Ability to assist with turning and repositioning
- Completion of bed bath
- Ability to don and remove PPE
- Ability to perform foot care
- Ability to perform glucose point of care testing
- Long Term Care (LTC) experience
- Vital sign monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate)
- Safe patient transfers
- Reporting changes in patient condition
- Perineal care (male/female)
- Skilled nursing care
- Skin care
- Urine/Stool incontinence care
