Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Licensed Pool - Educator to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as clinical instructor for Echo Tech department providing education and training support
• Provide clinical education, mentoring, onboarding, and quality initiatives across cardiac imaging departments
• Support education partnerships and competency validation programs
• Float between multiple facilities within the health system
• Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) with independent proficiency
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures
• Perform congenital heart disease imaging for both pediatric and adult patients
• Execute structural heart imaging including TAVR procedures
• Conduct Mitral Clip procedures
• Provide structural/interventional guidance scans
• Perform stress echocardiography
• Conduct hemodynamic and Doppler assessments
• Mentor and train staff and students in cardiac sonography techniques
• Maintain strong clinical presence while providing educational support
• Demonstrate advanced technical expertise and leadership capability
• Provide constructive feedback and support collaborative team environment
• Maintain professional, positive attitude in all interactions
• Support quality improvement initiatives across multiple hospital sites
• Utilize superior scanning and clinical knowledge in teaching role
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain active Adult Echo credential (RDCS-AE or RCS)
• Maintain Pediatric Echo credential (RDCS-PE)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
