Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform catheterization laboratory procedures and assist with cardiac interventions
• Operate specialized cardiac catheterization equipment and imaging systems
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Work scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for 40 hours per week
• Provide on-call coverage including weekends and holidays
• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures
• Assist physicians with catheter insertion and navigation
• Maintain sterile field and infection control protocols
• Document procedure details and patient information accurately
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Maintain valid state licensure and professional certifications
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing and vaccinations
• Adhere to facility policies and safety procedures
• Complete required training modules and competency assessments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
