Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Work as a Cath Lab Technologist providing specialized cardiac catheterization services
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Work 7a-3:30p schedule for 40 hours per week
• Participate in weekend call responsibilities
• Participate in holiday call coverage
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Complete required compliance forms and documentation
• Maintain current immunization records including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and COVID-19
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo annual physical and health assessments
• Pass criminal background check and education verification
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Maintain current professional licensure
• Complete annual drug screening requirements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
