Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Seaside, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans and X-ray examinations for patients of all age groups (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) • Maintain current ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications • Maintain current BLS certification • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head scans with and without contrast • Conduct X-ray examinations including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging • Execute specialized CT procedures such as brain perfusion, vascular CTA, biopsies, and drainage procedures • Utilize multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) techniques • Start peripheral IVs as needed for contrast administration • Maintain radiation safety protocols and procedures • Use PACS system for image management and storage • Apply isolation precautions and proper PPE when required • Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Complete required training modules pre-start and annually (approximately 16 hours, non-billable) • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment experience • Float to sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Operate CT equipment from manufacturers including GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba • Self-report time spent on required training modules • Complete compliance documentation and maintain valid state licensure
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
