Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Napa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound scanning services for 6-12 patients per day • Operate ultrasound equipment in three room department plus portable machine • Provide ultrasound services across multiple patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Perform various ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and emergency department scans • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Maintain current BLS certification and required ARDMS certifications • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Work one day of call per week • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Maintain valid California state licensure • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Adhere to 50-mile local radius restrictions and facility policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
