Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Napa, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient physical therapy services for general hospital outpatient care including post-operative orthopedic procedures • Treat patients with various conditions including TKA, THA, RCR, spinal surgeries, ACL repairs, and arthroscopies • Manage non-operative conditions such as neck, low back, knee, shoulder, and foot/ankle pain • Address general deconditioning, balance/gait challenges, and neurological disorders including CVA, Parkinson's, and TBI • Maintain current BLS certification and manual therapy skills • Work with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patient populations • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules averaging 16 hours • Float occasionally to acute inpatient side and affiliate hospitals as needed • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Maintain valid California state licensure • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules and maintain completion records • Work scheduled hours: 9:30-6:00 Monday-Thursday and 8:30-5:00 on Fridays • Utilize specialized skills in neurology, sports medicine, and aquatic therapy when applicable • Perform patient assessments, evaluations, discharge planning, and development of care plans • Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
