Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic interventions as directed by the supervising PT
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising physical therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress
• Ensure patient safety during all therapeutic activities and interventions
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and therapeutic equipment
• Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises and home care instructions
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Maintain current PTA licensure and required continuing education credits
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning conferences
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
