Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient and inpatient physical therapy services including acute and inpatient rehabilitation care • Treat post-operative conditions including total knee arthroplasty, total hip arthroplasty, rotator cuff repair, spinal surgeries, ACL reconstruction, and arthroscopies • Manage non-operative musculoskeletal conditions affecting neck, low back, knee, shoulder, and foot/ankle • Provide therapy for general deconditioning, balance and gait challenges • Treat neurological disorders including stroke, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injury • Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and reassessments • Develop and implement plans of care with short-term and long-term goals • Provide gait training and assistive device instruction including crutches, walkers, and mobility aids • Perform manual therapy and spinal mobilization techniques • Implement therapeutic modalities including cryotherapy and hydrotherapy • Develop home exercise programs and provide patient and family education • Document patient care using Epic charting system • Transport patients to and from treatment areas • Float between inpatient acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings as needed • Work scheduled hours including varied daily schedules • Maintain current BLS certification and valid state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays when required • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse • Maintain proper body mechanics and perform safe lifting and transfer techniques
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
