Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Salem, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans to support patient care mission
• Follow through with implementation of treatment plans
• Provide outpatient hand therapy services
• Work with post-operative hand surgery patients
• Perform splinting procedures and treatments
• Maintain current BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually (up to 8 hours non-billable)
• Maintain valid Oregon Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible
• Float between hospital and affiliate facilities as needed
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with 4x10-hour shifts (07:30 - 18:00)
• Comply with facility policies and procedures
• Provide minimum of one supervisor reference
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Adhere to professional standards and scope of practice
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
