Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP - SLP to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech-language pathology services in an outpatient therapy clinic setting • Work with children with autism and their families • Conduct 8 patient visits per day across 8 treatment rooms • Utilize Epic documentation system for charting and billing • Treat patients with neurodevelopmental challenges, developmental delays, language disorders, autism, ADHD, and behavioral challenges • Perform evaluations using CELF, PLS-4, Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale, and other screening tools • Provide patient and family education • Utilize alternative communication devices and communication boards • Complete assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and reassessment documentation • Implement concurrent therapy treatment and documentation • Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse • Work with adolescent and pediatric patient populations • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and interpretation services • Complete evaluations and provide ongoing treatment without referring elsewhere • Maintain current BLS and CCC-SLP certifications • Maintain valid state licensure • Complete 40 hours of orientation • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Complete all compliance documentation within 72 hours of offer acceptance • Maintain reliable transportation to facility • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
