Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP - SLP to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech-language pathology services in outpatient pediatric therapy clinic setting
• Conduct evaluations and provide ongoing treatment for assigned patients (evaluation and referral elsewhere is not acceptable)
• Deliver therapy services to children with autism and support their families
• Manage caseload of 8 visits per day across 8 available rooms
• Treat patients with neurodevelopmental challenges, developmental delays, expressive/receptive language delays, stuttering, articulation issues, autism, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and complications from prematurity
• Utilize EPIC documentation system for all patient records and billing documentation
• Perform dysphagia management including bedside swallow evaluations, compensatory strategies, and modified barium swallow studies
• Use evaluation tools including CELF, Non-Evaluative Screening Tools, PLS-4, and Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale
• Operate alternative communication devices and communication boards for patient care
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and home strategies
• Complete assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, plan of care, and reassessments
• Maintain current BLS and CCC-SLP certifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy and Interpretation Services
• Complete required compliance modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Self-report time spent on training modules with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
• Maintain valid state licensure and complete payor credentialing process
• Identify signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse in pediatric patients
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
