Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures in a 2-camera department using Siemens Definition AS+ and Drive equipment
• Conduct approximately 70 CT exams per day across various patient populations including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and PACS (Visage) for image management
• Perform 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as needed
• Start peripheral IVs when required
• Work in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings
• Handle Level I and Level II trauma cases
• Maintain current ARRT and BLS certifications
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually (8-10 hours)
• Work scheduled night shifts Monday through Thursday (20:30 - 07:00)
• Take call assignments 1-2 weeks during assignment period
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Adapt to floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed based on census
• Comply with fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Complete compliance testing within 48 hours after signing
• Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months
• Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact)
• Adhere to facility policies and dress code requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
