Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Rotating at a leading Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis without and/or with contrast • Conduct specialized procedures such as brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular imaging • Operate 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 64 slice GE lightspeed equipment • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Provide imaging services for emergency department and outpatient cases • Maintain radiation safety protocols and procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Perform CT-guided procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage • Handle high-volume caseload in busy department environment • Provide care for patients across all age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics • Assist with patient transport when needed • Follow isolation precautions protocols • Complete required training modules pre-start and annually • Maintain current BLS and ARRT certifications • Work flexible shift schedules based on department needs • Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float between facilities within the state as required • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
