Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to pediatric and infant populations including developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries • Conduct independent patient assessments and evaluations using tools such as PDMS-2 • Develop and implement treatment plans and discharge planning • Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and home exercise programs • Perform AROM/AAROM/PROM exercises and utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices • Conduct milestone assessments and reassessments • Maintain productivity standards of 7-8 patients per day • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float to acute care hospital when outpatient census is low • Participate in early intervention programs and outpatient clinic services • Maintain current BLS certification and valid CA PT license • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between facilities within the state as required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
