Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to pediatric and infant populations in outpatient clinic setting • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments independently • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and plans of care • Perform reassessments and modify treatment plans as needed • Provide patient and family education on treatment protocols and home exercise programs • Treat patients with developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries • Utilize PDMS-2 assessment tool for pediatric evaluations • Maintain productivity standards of 7-8 patients per day • Document patient care using Epic charting system • Float to acute care hospital when outpatient census is low • Provide AROM/AAROM/PROM therapy techniques • Assess and prescribe adaptive equipment and assistive devices • Conduct milestone assessments for pediatric patients • Perform pain assessments and implement appropriate interventions • Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care • Participate in early intervention programs • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team including OT and SLP • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain valid California Physical Therapist license • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years • Complete compliance documentation and certifications as required • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
