Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Seaside, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to patients primarily ages adolescent and up
• Treat patients with orthopedics, post op ortho, ortho spine, neurological conditions (CVA, MS, Parkinson's), vestibular, falls/balance, persistent pain, and pelvic health
• Conduct 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions with 1:1 patient care
• Perform patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement plans of care and home exercise programs
• Provide gait training and mobility assistance using adaptive and assistive devices
• Conduct strength testing and pain assessments
• Monitor vital signs and provide patient and family education
• Document patient care using Epic charting system
• Complete discharge planning and reassessments
• Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Must have vehicle for assignment transportation
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
