Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography services as an Echo Technologist in a single-tech department • Conduct 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, and M-Mode echocardiography procedures • Perform Color Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, and Pulsed Wave Doppler studies • Execute bubble studies and portable echocardiography studies • Conduct routine and complex echocardiography examinations • Perform echocardiography on patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Operate independently with strong technical skills in a one-person department • Handle daily patient load of 7-8 patients per day • Maintain ARDMS and/or ARDMS RDCS certifications • Maintain current BLS certification • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Complete required compliance documentation prior to start date • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery • Work with Change Healthcare Cardiology Web system (preferred experience) • Maintain valid state licensure for echo technologist practice
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
