Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages
• Conduct upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary, vascular, venous access and neurological studies
• Provide specialized neuro experience including stroke intervention procedures
• Handle daily caseload of 13-17 patients
• Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment
• Utilize PACS system for imaging management
• Administer contrast for various procedures
• Maintain sterile field during scrub procedures
• Work first shift with staggered start times between 0700-0830 for 10 hours/day Monday-Friday
• Participate in weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation as primary and backup
• Complete required BLS certification and maintain ARRT certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable training modules pre-start and annually
• Attend mandatory hospital orientation during first week
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Provide care to adults and geriatrics patient population
• Complete required compliance documentation within 48 hours of signing
• Maintain current state licensure and provide two supervisory references from past 12 months
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
