Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate SLP - SLP to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Seattle, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide speech-language pathology services in an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic setting
• Conduct evaluations and provide ongoing treatment for patients with neurodevelopmental challenges, developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and related conditions
• Work with children with autism and their families in a specialized pediatric setting
• Complete 8 patient visits per day across 8 treatment rooms
• Utilize EPIC documentation system for all patient records and billing requirements
• Perform assessments using required evaluation tools including CELF, PLS-4, and Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment process
• Use alternative communication devices and communication boards as needed for patient care
• Complete assessment, evaluation, discharge, plan of care, and reassessment documentation
• Handle concurrent therapy documentation and treatment as required
• Recognize signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Maintain current BLS certification and CCC-SLP credentials
• Maintain valid state licensure throughout assignment
• Complete all compliance documentation within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy and interpretation services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
