Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - LTC to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 days at a leading LTC in Charlevoix, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Work under direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager/director, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader
• Perform duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established hospital methods and procedures
• Strive for superior performance by consistently providing service to leadership and staff that contributes to the patient and family experience
• Recognize and demonstrate understanding of patient and family centered care
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Maintain valid Michigan state licensure
• Adhere to strict attendance policy regarding scheduled shifts and punctuality
• Work every other weekend
• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36-hour guaranteed hours
• Complete fingerprinting requirements as needed
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
