Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures using 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 64 slice GE lightspeed equipment
• Conduct CT scans for various body regions including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine with and without contrast
• Provide imaging services for emergency department patients and outpatients in high-volume primary stroke receiving center
• Perform specialized CT procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, vascular CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures
• Maintain current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications
• Work with patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with preference for infant imaging
• Assist with patient transport when needed despite availability of transport support
• Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Utilize PACS system and Epic charting for documentation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
