Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services to pediatric, infant, and adolescent patients in an outpatient setting
• Conduct independent patient assessments using tools such as PDMS-2
• Treat patients with developmental delays, torticollis, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic injuries
• Maintain productivity standards of 7-8 patients per hour day with daily patient load of 7
• Work Monday-Friday schedule from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Float to acute care hospital when outpatient census is low
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Develop and implement home exercise programs for patients
• Conduct patient and family education sessions
• Perform evaluation, treatment planning, and reassessments
• Work with adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Provide AROM/AAROM/PROM therapy techniques
• Participate in discharge planning and milestone assessments
• Maintain current BLS certification and valid CA physical therapy license
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including OT and SLP services
• Maintain proficiency in outpatient medical-based physical therapy services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
