Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Mission Hills, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography, angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement
• Conduct specialized procedures such as ERCP, liver biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and nephrostomy
• Set up and maintain interventional radiology equipment
• Function as room circulator during procedures
• Scrub and maintain sterile field during interventional procedures
• Utilize vascular closure systems including Perclose and StarClose
• Perform endovascular interventions and genitourinary system procedures
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required compliance modules pre-start and annually
• Maintain valid state licensure and current LA fire card
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Comply with background check and licensing disclosure requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
