Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Petoskey, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision
• Give straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met
• Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray
• Position patients and use radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician
• Accurately perform all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
• Ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain current ARRT certification
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Participate in on-call rotation of one week per month including weeknight coverage from 11p-7a and weekend coverage from Friday 7p-Monday 7a
• Work weekends as needed
• Maintain valid state licensure and provide license verification as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
