Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Newberg, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures for various body regions including brain, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities • Operate 1.5T MRI scanners (Phillips and GE equipment) • Conduct imaging for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Handle daily caseload of 22-24 patients with variety of cases including neuro, GI, and vascular studies • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs when necessary • Perform image post-processing including ADC mapping and subtraction techniques • Utilize multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and maximum intensity projection (MIP) • Operate surface coils and perform T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging • Conduct peripheral magnetic resonance angiography procedures • Document patient information and procedures using Epic charting system • Maintain PACS system operations • Work scheduled shifts including weekends as part of weekly rotation • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Adhere to facility dress code and policies • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
