Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including chest, abdomen, extremities, and spine imaging
• Operate radiographic equipment including C-Arm and portable X-ray machines
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed for imaging procedures
• Provide imaging services for various patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in multiple departments including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room
• Perform portable imaging procedures for bedside patients
• Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, CRT, and Fluoro Permit certifications
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty
• Maintain valid California state licensure
• Follow facility dress code requirements (black scrubs for radiology)
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignments
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
