Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations with focus on vascular studies • Conduct approximately 8 studies per day • Perform transcranial doppler examinations as needed • Utilize various ultrasound equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite systems • Conduct specialized vascular studies including carotid, aorta, arterial graft studies, and arterial mapping • Perform lower extremity arterial and venous studies • Evaluate dialysis grafts and stents using duplex and color flow techniques • Maintain current BLS certification and vascular certification (CCI RVS, RDCS - RVT) • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Maintain valid state licensure and compact license • Be available for on-call duties as needed • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Comply with department dress code requirements • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in TX
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
