Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services in an acute care setting working Tuesday through Saturday 0800-1700
• Maintain current Arizona state physical therapy license and BLS certification
• Work as a generalist with confidence in treating various medical diagnoses
• Manage moderate to maximum assist patients and conduct co-treatments
• Provide therapy services to ventilated patients
• Adapt quickly and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day
• Work one weekend day as required since department operates 7 days a week
• Float to surrounding clinics and affiliate hospitals as needed based on census
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation
• Complete 8 hours of orientation and required training modules during first week
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
• Provide patient transport to and from treatment areas
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work in ER and Medical Surgical units as required, with ICU experience preferred
• Provide two professional references with one from most recent employer within 1 year
• Complete compliance documentation and testing within required timeframes
• Adhere to business casual dress code and facility policies
• Maintain flexible schedule with ability to work in various units based on skill sets
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
