Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Cottonwood, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist with STEMI/NSTEMI and cardiac disease cases
• Perform thrombectomy procedures
• Assist with coil embolization procedures
• Support pacemaker and defibrillator device placement
• Perform cardiac stent placement procedures
• Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Conduct percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Perform left and right heart catheterization
• Assist with transcatheter aortic valve implantation/replacement (TAVI/TAVR)
• Perform electrophysiology evaluations and cardiac ablation procedures
• Conduct arrhythmia induction and cardiac mapping
• Assist with insertion and programming of AICDs
• Perform pacemaker insertion and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Support left atrial appendage (LAA) closure procedures
• Conduct cardioversion and conduction studies
• Perform accurate patient monitoring throughout procedures
• Perform EKG lead placement and 12 lead EKGs
• Maintain sterile field and scrub techniques
• Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation
• Operate specialized equipment including GE Cath lab systems and Mac lab hemodynamic documentation
• Take call shifts as required (18-19 days of call in 8 weeks)
• Float to outpatient cath lab for procedures as needed
• Work weekends as scheduled (2-3 weekends in 8 weeks)
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain ARRT certification and state licensure
• Complete required modules and training programs during orientation
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient safety and quality standards
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
