Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services in a critical access rural hospital setting
• Deliver inpatient and swing bed rehabilitation services
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services focusing on orthopedics
• Provide neurological rehabilitation services based on experience level
• Work 40 hours per week on day shift (0730-1800)
• Provide occasional Saturday coverage as needed
• Maintain valid state physical therapy licensure
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and others
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Pass criminal background check and comply with exclusion list requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete skills checklist and Joint Commission testing
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete color vision testing
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required education verification and profile documentation
• Comply with system access and security requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
