Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - OT to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Baker City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services during day shifts with occasional Saturday coverage
• Work 40 hours per week for a 15-week assignment
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing and maintain personal health requirements
• Complete 10-panel drug screening
• Adhere to code of conduct and maintain professional integrity
• Complete I9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Submit to motor vehicle report verification
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete physical/health statement requirements
• Undergo criminal background check and various professional verifications
• Complete Joint Commission testing and skills checklist
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Work standard shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Provide occupational therapy services to replace agency staff
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
