Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Salisbury, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist healthcare providers while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures
• Maintain current ACLS and BCLS certifications
• Maintain valid ARRT or RCIS certification
• Perform EKG lead placement
• Handle urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures
• Respond to STEMI calls within 30-minute callback time
• Work as part of a three-person call team including one RN
• Operate specialized equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, and various interventional devices
• Provide on-call coverage on a weekly basis every third week for STEMI and urgent procedures
• Work every third weekend
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours)
• Maintain sterile field during procedures
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Handle device implants including pacemakers and ICDs
• Work flexible scheduling based on unit needs
• Complete facility orientation (40-80 hours)
• Adhere to facility fatigue policy (no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
