Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Glenview, IL. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cath lab radiology technologist duties on 4x10 schedule (7:00am-5:30pm) • Provide on-call coverage 2-3 days per week • Work every third weekend • Float between multiple facilities as required • Work 1 major holiday per contract • Maintain ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and state licensure certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Perform ASD closures and cardiac implant closure device procedures • Conduct cardiac stent placement and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations • Assist with electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures • Monitor hemodynamics and perform IABP placement/removal • Support Impella insertion procedures • Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with interventional cardiac cath lab procedures • Participate in laser assisted procedures and left heart catheterization • Perform Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) • Assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and PTCA procedures • Support permanent pacemaker insertion (PPI) procedures • Perform pulmonary artery (PA) line insertion • Conduct right heart catheterization procedures • Assist with Rotablader atherectomy and scrub procedures • Support temporary pacemaker procedures • Assist with TAVI/TAVR procedures • Complete 30 hours of orientation training • Pass EKG test with 84% or higher on first attempt • Provide patient care for adult population with daily census of 25 • Complete required compliance documentation and training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
