Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg Tele to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Work every third weekend as scheduled
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Skills Checklist and specialty specific competency testing
• Maintain current license and certificate verification
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Comply with Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete I9 documentation and background check requirements
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Submit to physical/health statement requirements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and education verification
• Maintain NSO (National Student Organization) requirements
• Work 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Adhere to facility policies and system access protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
