Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography services as an Echo Technologist
• Maintain current BLS, CCI, and RDCS certifications
• Perform 12 Lead EKG procedures
• Conduct 2-D and 3-D Echo examinations
• Perform Bubble Study procedures
• Operate GE and Philips equipment
• Conduct Treadmill Stress Echo tests
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Handle daily caseload of up to 10 patients per day
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete 80 hours of facility orientation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Submit monthly cell phone bills for work-related use if applicable
• Complete compliance documentation and certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
