Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ER to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Baker City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency room nursing care for patients in a resource/float position • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Float between different units and departments as needed • Complete required specialty-specific competency testing • Maintain current nursing license and certification verification • Complete mandatory skills checklist assessments • Comply with Trinity Code of Conduct and facility policies • Complete Joint Commission testing requirements • Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella • Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing • Pass color vision testing requirements • Complete annual fit testing for respiratory protection • Undergo comprehensive background checks and screening processes • Complete required health assessments and physical examinations • Maintain confidentiality agreements for patient and facility information • Complete system access and security training requirements • Participate in required educational programs and competency validations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
