Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Med Surg to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Baker City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical unit setting
• Maintain current RN licensure and required certifications
• Complete license and certificate verification processes
• Undergo required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Obtain and maintain required vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and seasonal influenza)
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Participate in specialty-specific competency testing and annual competency assessments
• Complete mandatory compliance training and Joint Commission testing
• Maintain professional standards through code of conduct adherence
• Complete skills checklist and demonstrate clinical competencies
• Participate in background check and credentialing processes
• Work evening shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Complete required documentation and system access forms
• Maintain patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Participate in conflict of interest disclosure processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
